Today’s masterclass is on the first Minuet from Bach’s Suite No. 1 in G major, where I discuss slurs, “the rule” regarding trills in the Baroque era, and more. The minuet, as opposed to the other dances in the suite, was still actually danced in Bach’s time, so keep that in mind when you practice and perform it!
